Snapshots This Week

1 || Snowpocalypse 2014, Hothlanta, Snow Jam '14. I lived through it and I survived it. I can't believe how unprepared Atlanta, my city, was for this event. Poor planning on our government's part. I'm just so lucky that I live on campus and could just enjoy the snow for its beauty.

2 || Favorite Picture of the Week. I made this sandwich on a whim during a snow day because it was a summation of what I had in my apartment--Nutella, crunchy peanut butter and a banana I stole from the dining hall. *shh* The lighting from the snow outside my window reflecting sunlight just made it look like the most scrumptious sammich ever.

3 || Stuck in Love. Such a good movie. I watched it on a recommendation from a friend and I was absolutely blown away. I'm adding it to the list of movies that perfectly represent the genre I love.

4 || Valentine's Greeting Cards from Papyrus. If you know me, you know I loooove a good greeting card. I seriously could blow a whole lot of money on greeting cards and stationary for people. That being said, Papyrus has some of the best Valentine's Day cards I've seen this year. They got a little saucy with it and it is actually perfect. I found the best one for Daniel.

5 || Noosa Yoghurt. This is my guilty pleasure of yogurts. I fell in love with it from a free sample that was offered on campus one day. It's a bit expensive so I only limit myself to two containers, but you get so much and its so healthy for you!

Snapshots This Week

1 || Say Anything by Tristan Prettyman. I can't stop listening to this song. It's so beautiful.

2 || Disney's Frozen. Finally got around to watching this movie. It's absolutely perfection and I feel bad for thinking it wouldn't live up to the hype. (Also perfect timing with the second polar vortex swirling around)

3 || Kitten Bouquet. ThinkGeek is fueling the inner crazy cat lady in me with this super awesome substitute for roses on Valentine's Day.

4 || Vagina Monologues. After seeing VM four times, I am finally going to participate in it this year! I found out today that my part will be My Angry Vagina and I'm so excited!

5 || Her Campus Blogger Network. Living Snapshots got accepted into the HCBN which will open up a lot of doors for me as a blogger. I'm so excited about this opportunity!

Beautiful Bras

Okay ladies, this one is for you.

I recently found out about this wonderful online shop called True & Co. from reading about it on Just Georgia Peachy. It's not your average undergarment store. First of all, you take a quiz about your current bras so they can determine if you are actually wearing the right size. Second of all, to make sure you don't buy the wrong size based on their suggested, you can try on different bras at home for free! That's right--free shipping (to you and returning) and no obligation for you to buy and you get to play dress up with beautiful bras in your own space! It's the best bra idea ever. I don't know about you guys, but I always felt so awkward trying on bras in department stores or even places like Victoria's Secret. It's so nice to be comfortable in your own room and have the option of trying the bras on under your favorite clothes.

Also it was especially nice for me because True & Co. suggested I try a bigger size than I have been wearing and some of the things they sent me didn't fit. The best part about returning the bras you selected for home try-on is that you can give feedback on why you didn't like particular bras so that True & Co. can better suggest you other bras--it's a whole personalized shop!

I did wind up finding one bra that I was absolutely in love with. It's called Marielle and it fits like a dream. I'm just imagining wearing it under light and flowing shirts come spring and summer.

I can't wait to do business with True and Co. again. I highly suggest it for anyone looking for some new undergarments or anyone who just wants to feel pampered!
